Oro Latino Americano... Segunda parte!

August 12, 2019 02:07AM
Part two is here!

Just wait until the end and then it gets real good. Notice the superheater damper close open on the class 101 as it pulls out of the Guatemala City station. (Look towards the top of the screen on the right hand side.)

This is Costa Rica in the late 1980's, but is neat and historic in its own right.

Mexico AND Guatemala! I believe this one made its rounds a few years back, but here it goes again...

The railroad enters the documentary around 14:00. Featured are a Krupp (you can tell by the rear light set into the base of the cab) on a banana train and another locomotive, likely a 2-8-0 or 4-6-0, on the Puente de Las Vacas.

This one has a few clips in it, but it worth it for the footage of 4-6-0 93 at 11:35 and possibly at 11:45 (in the background). The beginning also has some good stuff in the first 1 1/2 minutes.

Th'... Th'... That's all folks...
For now...
