Thanks for the links, Bruce! They have really helped me out. I’ve already started drawing up the equipment list as it would have appeared in 1901, as I’m planning on perhaps virtually modeling the route as it looked in that year. I picked 1901 specifically as it had the most motive power on the line that 1) wasn’t USA-procured, and 2) there’s a charm about small narrow gauge lokeys struggling up grades amidst snow and pines.
I already have two more questions for anyone who can answer them. I was wondering if anyone had any sort of specifications for WP&Y No. 64, a little 2-6-0 that I have not been able to find any concrete info on. I also was wondering how Baldwin listed their Vauclain Compounds in their Catalogues, like they would a 2-8-0 with 15-inch bored cylinders as a 10-24E. The compounding system has me thrown for a loop, as far as the company nomenclature is concerned.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
