Sorry if I stepped on your toes.
My dad was a USFS wildlife and range manager for his entire career. I helped him do weed control on the forest many times.
Any invasive species was a weed. Dandy-loins, and especially Canada Thistle.
There was not much that could be done about the Dandy-lions but we were always trying to kill the Canada Thistle.
We were never able to get rid if it completely though.
