Philip,

Glad you could make it out west and send the great photos. The 20" gauge system in that area was very extensive and many photos exist of it. The open pit mining in that area destroyed most of the roadbeds. I'm glad that someone had the sense to preserve this locomotive and no one scrapped it during WWII. Several other 20" gauge locomotives from this system have been preserved.
