I was going to suggest the DeLorme map shop beside the main road at the northern end of Yarmouth ME complete with its enormous revolving globe - maybe 3 storeys high. I’ve stopped there a couple of times in my way to or from Wiscasset and the stock of maps from all over the world was amazing. However I see on the internet that the firm has been taken over by Garmin, the satnav people. The shop has been closed - very sad - though you can still visit the globe.
