More Cars Move to Alna, Maine

July 25, 2019 01:28PM
This weeks Facebook photos show more cars arriving at the WW&F Railway Museum from Portland Maine. The Edaville #101 side door caboose has gotten a new cupola and
been re-painted as Bridgton & Saco River #32. The last time I saw it, it was jammed into the side of a building. It is nice to get a good look at the caboose!

Thanks to Ellis Atwood who preserved most of the Bridgton & Saco River passenger and freight cars; most of them are now going back to their B&SR colors and numbers. And the WW&F Museum is becoming the place to go see them. Happy 30th anniversary to the WW&F Railway Museum!

The Monson #4 traveled across the WW&F track on her way to the Maine Locomotive & Machine Works for repairs. Perhaps re-tubing?
