As we were ready to depart Osier, it looked to be we were in for a storm as the skies to the west blackened. We were lucky to not have any storms, but it did make for some dramatic backgrounds for 489.
I do not know why the last photo is upside down as they are right side up on my computer.. click on image to view full sized and right side up.
We have witnessed valley
and plain and crest,
Canon and pass we've scanned;
We have seen the best
of the glorious West,
by the trail of the Rio Grande
