Especially the comparison of Ernie's famous 1970 shot in 'The Narrows' with your shot of the re-enactment. Since I was one of those re-enacting, I didn't carry my camera that afternoon. I also like the shot of Ed putting up with my caterwauling in the depot — he's the only person I know who was ever brave enough to accompany me, and I miss him A LOT. My daughter Cindy (Jackelopette here on the NGDF) caught this one of Ed and me on the re-enactment train somewhere near Lake Lobato

While those guys were digging out the bent rails, three or four of us went out to the west end of town and "borrowed" two or three straight lengths from the D&RGW that the scrapper had kindly already un-spiked

About half an hour after you took the shot of us old-timers at the crossing Cindy took this shot of another 2010 re-enactment
