Yes, T-12 174 was used to help push Rotary ON out of Alamosa for Cumbres Pass in one instance in the epic snow blockade of early 1932. It was only used because they were running out of available power in Alamosa. Many of the engines were stranded on the pass. Otherwise, I doubt a T-12 would be that effective pushing a rotary snowplow.
Another thing, I don’t remember ever seeing a reference that a T-12 was used in dedicated switching service as suggested above. The T-12’s were nimble little passenger engines but weren’t set up for the heavier work like switching or shoving a rotary around.
