Alpine Tunnel Road and Palisades?

I haven't seen anything posted about this in a while, and haven't found anything online either... Does anyone know of the current status of the road to the Alpine Tunnel past the Palisades? I'm assuming no repair or reconstruction work has been done after the slide damage? And has anyone heard if there's even any repair work planned at this point or is this still in limbo?
