When I last visited the Esquel line in 2012 I remember sitting on the platform steps of a coach and watching the remote landscape pass by. It was easy to envision myself riding the C&C in its early days. Esquel is a long way away, and not a cheap visit, but for those who can do it it is an amazing step back in time.
