All three were built by Baldwin for the International Railways of Central America, but the 40 and 44 were part of an earlier order and the 111 came later to somewhat different specs. I can't easily lay my hands on the Jerry Best roster with the details, but I'm sure others like Tom Moungovan can fill in some details. Esthetically I think the 111 is a bit more handsome, the 40 and 44 seem a little "pudgier" to me. But that is a nit, all three look good to me and the Loop appears to have done a great job on both engines.
Here is what the 110 looked like while on the IRCA (actually Fegua by the time the picture was taken at Zacapa). That is the famous Hotel Ferrocarril in the background. The 110 was sold to the FES and finished its active days in El Salvador.
