I’d agree it is interesting; a high quality scan of the negative could help determine if it is what you think it is, or it could disprove it... I think I see what you are seeing too, it’s even slightly visible around the edges of things... In my opinion, the fact that it is so ‘widespread’ makes me think it’s not some random colored pixels from being a lower resolution; again, I think a higher resolution scan could help prove or disprove that. It’s very interesting to say the least.
