The steel double doors open into the oil storage room for unloading oil drums from boxcars on the nearby track

Looks like an ashpan cleaning wand and air hose. When the passsenger trains arrived in Chama the fires were cleaned and ashpans dumped on the mainline during the stop and engine crew change
