Re: Thoughts on marking the 50 anniversary of the CATS

Hi guys--

I was on the early C&TS working for for Earl Bell and living with Rich Braden and Mike Carr right at the beginning of the line in 1971. I was there the same day Rich signed on and he bought a house that afternoon were we all lived. I think I was there a week or so in 1970. I I didn't make much of a railroader and was gone by August of 71 to go back to school. We had Sid the old engineer and 2 boilermakers from the D&RGW. Volunteers came up on the weekends.

Anyone still around from that time? Bernie Watts was there a month or so after we arrived.

I am looking for photos of me during that time. I'd like to take part in the 50th in some way.
