Speaking of Argentina, dining cars, and oxygen deprivation, I had a great meal on the train from Salta to Socampa but that crests the Andes at 14,520 feet and the combination of good food good wine and little oxygen did not agree with me at all. Anyone interested in reading about that trip can go HERE for a short story and pix.
