We are back at the Crows Foot:
My original intent had been to explore the Granite Creek Saddle line(the grade on the right). I found out from the Forest Service that this grade had not yet been cleared of fallen trees. Since it is now a week later and I have limited time, I decided to find the Crow Peak incline (the line to the left). We drove out to where I had first intercepted the grade and managed to follow it from a newer road further up the hillside until the two merged. A little exploration and we are looking at the top of the incline:
The incline starts down the hill in the center of the photo. On the left was a spur that ran level for about 200 feet. It may have been a storage track for the incline.
The only immediately visible evidence is some wire rope and a piece of pipe:
A few feet down the incline is a coil of wire rope:
