After visiting the Fire Lookout, I drove back down to the junction with the railroad grade. This is the line to the right of Signal Peak:
As Buddy had told me these grades had not yet been cleared of fallen trees by the Forest Service, I decided to hike down and see what I could find.
Here's a shot of a nice curve about 1/4 mile down the grade:

For some reason, I cannot get this photo to orient correctly. You can see a couple of the fallen trees blocking the ROW.
About 1/8 mile further I came to a split in the grade:
The line on the left continues for another couple of miles. The line on the right heads down to a logging camp used in 1928.
I decided to explore the logging camp area as the Ferguson Fire had burned off most of the duff in this area.
After walking about an 1/8 of a mile I began to see artifacts:
These are a couple of bed frames.
