After spending yesterday evening carefully cross checking the railroad grade map with the Forest Service roads, I have a better idea of where the incline railroad is and how the railroad got to Roundtree Saddle. Next expedition will try to find the incline.

Continuing on yesterday's quest, we come to what is called Crow's Foot on the railroad grade map:

Behind me is the mainline back to Sugar Pine. The grade to the left leads to the incline and Roundtree Saddle. The grade in the center leads to Signal Peak. The grade on the right leads out to Granite Creek Saddle.
There was a rail yard here with three tracks to consolidate trains from each branch for the haul to Sugar Pine.

Although there was a logging camp here in 1928, I found very little evidence due to the location having a high volume of traffic, and the area only partly burned off from the Ferguson Fire. I did find a piece of wire rope:
