D&S and roller bearings

Not nearly as exciting as watching a very muscular Animas River but the D&S now has TWO cars with roller bearings,,,the Knight Sky & gondola #413. I went back to the 413 and maybe in was a little smoother.
There was full sun on the snow all day so it will be interesting to see what the Animas does. The meadows just to the north are flooded but thats fairly common. One row of the campground by the Iron Horse is flooded as well. Noticed some 4 wheelers up on Kendall looking at a slide. Even Animas Forks is out of reach now with a 120' deep snow slide having come down Grouse Gulch. For that matter it snowed a bit in town just last week. Well we all prayed for a REAL winter & we got it! Promises to be a tough year for jeep rental places in Silverton.
