Southern Pacific #18 repair status

Back in Mid-May it was announced that the piston, rods,etc were at hand and #18 would be quickly returned to service and used in work train service in June.

Well it is nearly June and no news. Speculation would indicate that #18 is not ready yet, Maybe the discovery of more damage? Cylinder cracks?
If it were something minor, quickly fixed there would have been an update.

Maybe it is just the lack of shop time as the summer season has arrived? Anyone know?
