About this time, I asked a couple of yard workers what they were doing. They replied they were moving the engines and cars to Antonito "for storage." No mention of Cumbres and Toltec as I remember.

I purposely avoided getting the switch engine in the photos to preserve the legacy look, a decision I now regret.
