Great Photos!
In 2014, Steamtown hosted our FRA Part 230 training team as a "hands on classroom" to train new FRA Motive Power & Equipment (MP&E) Inspectors. It was a great place to train the uninitiated on steam locomotives and the applicability of the regulations. Even though No. 26 was not yet in steam, it was good training for boiler entry and confined space. The other locomotives as pictured were also available for use with identification of components from the smokebox to tender and everything in between.
They were great host and I highly recommend a visit, it is a wonderful place!
