Here are a couple of additional pictures as 493 turned Los Pinos loop with her freight train. In December 1967 the new highway was under construction, but Los Pinos was still free of the clutter of sheds and houses that now occupies the site. I'm thinking of making a story type of posting for the December 5-6, 1967, operations (the sixth to last revenue freight cycle) but I need to get most photos re-scanned to a higher resolution first (somewhere closer to 1.2 mb).
