The second Barringer/RFC special with the #25 ran the entire length of the RGS. Dick Jackson's son Jim took the color slides that drgwk37 posted. He also shot 8mm movies of this train. It seems the Jacksons chased the train to Dolores or Rico then boarded the train as Jim shot movies from the train of #25 working its way north. It seem that pre-1939 Kodachrome (both 355mm slide film and 8mm movie film had problems with color stability as all the color Jackson slides and films of 1938 have the color almost completely washed out. Everything from 1939 on has good color.
