In 1974, at Buffalo NY when the CR rotary was working the Belt Line track it took down an entire garage that was near the railroad right of way. Weight of the snow landing on the roof was way too much and flattened the building. The jet snow-blowers used in recent years do a number on house windows in that area.. Railroad pays for damages
