FYI, Ridgway Railroad Museum will have a Driving of the Silver Spike dedication ceremony at the new railyard location at 10 am on Saturday, May 11th, followed by rides around the complete loop on RGS Motor 1. Ridgway mayor John Clark and museum president Karl Schaeffer will drive the ceremonial spike, along with short speeches. Hopefully by then the new windows will be in RGS coach 252, and the town park across the street will be the site of the annual Love Your Valley brewfest in the afternoon. So if you can't make it to Promontory, check out Ridgway.
Also, remember our Gathering of the Flock with Geese 4 and 5 October 12 and 13.
