I spoke with Bob briefly when a friend and I stopped by in 1976 and found the leased 4-4-0 under steam.
Bob was out with a track crew shoveling ballast. I sent him a photo of that event many years later.
He was one of the most down-to-earth individuals I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
