Remembering Ernie -- 493 at night on 11-22-67

Ernie was one of the early practitioners of night photography on the narrow gauge. At the end of a 2-day chase of 493 making an Alamosa-Chama roundtrip on November 21-22, 1967, Ernie went on to take some night photos at the Alamosa Red Devil coal loader, using available light and a time exposure. Back in the 1960s night photos were a rarity, but of course now they are hugely popular.
