That would be correct.
All the stock and bonds of the C&C was acquired by the SP in 1900. Then after the northern half was converted to standard gauge in 1906, the property of the C&C was sold to a new SP subsidiary the Nevada & California. The C&C was paid in N&C stock and then several months later issued that to the SP as a dividend and went out of business,
Then in 1912 the property of the N&C was transferred to the Central Pacific, another subsidiary of the SP. The CP was not merged into the SP until 1959.
