William,
Thanks for the reply. I think I remember that engine...did you have it at the York Trainshow in 2012? I love that step light1 Not too many modelers do that!
I met you at that show after I returned from Afghanistan. I also bought one of your fishbelly flats off you. I heard you converted to On3. You can get a bunch more modeling in that way. As for me I am starting a 30'x54' layout building as soon as I can get the building permits. My layout will be a big loop with the loop continuing around on a 12' wide by 30' long center island. It will be about 50" off the floor and will be assorted prototypical scenes utilizing forced perspective to achieve distances.
I agree with you regarding Geoff...he is one helluva craftsman and a true gentlemen on top of that, I bought one of the two Berlyn K-37's from him and he put remote control and sound in it for me. I also need for him to repair the other one and put batteries in it. Unfortunately, it suffered from the "Coffin Box" syndrom via UPS and they refused to honor the insurance claim on it. I spoke to Geoff last summer (before Hurricane Michael destroyed our town) and I believe he was cutting back on his brass repair business. I need to hit him up again and see if he can do me a huge favor and repair my Berlyn K-37 and correct the Accucraft tender for me.
Thanks again, if you talk to Geoff let him know I will be calling him soon...I have a house to rebuild first!
