Greetings,
A few years ago I bought an F scale (1:20.3) Accucraft K-37 and later on bought 2 Berlyn K-37's. After placing them in the display case together, I noticed the Accucraft K-37 (499) tender has little to no flair in the tender lip as opposed to the Berlyn K-37's which has a very defined flair. The Accucraft tender also did not have a rear facing tender light like the Berlyn models. The Berlyn models are clearly more detailed than the Accucraft model.
After doing some research in the DPL photo library, I did notice that some K-37's tenders had little to no flair...but the majority have the very well defined flair...some with a vertical portion on top of the flair for a coal bunker vertical extension. My question is why did some have the flair and some did not? Is the Accucraft tender inaccurate? If so, how can it be corrected?
Thanks in advance,
Jon
