You are probably right Bob, I didn't notice that and I'm going by the date on the slide. All the K-37's except 491 and 499 got steel pilot beams. I believe they were fabricated by the Grande. 499 never got one because she had a wood beam plow from 1942 until she retired. Not sure why 491 never got one. All the K-37's were built with wood pilot beams.
