Flanger 1984

While on the popular subject of the day and without grabbing on to other posts, I thought I would chime in here. Way back on Feb 12,1984 my wife and I were married in San Diego and took our honeymoon to Durango to ride the Cascade train. It snowed the night before we were to ride and it was like a winter wonderland. My wife and I were to ride the parlor car but my friend Jim Mayer asked my wife if I could ride the flanger/plow train, she said yes! So she rode the parlor car and I rode in the caboose.
The plow train had a flat car with a dozer on it that we dropped off to do some work and then continued on but did not get too much farther than Cascade when we were stopped by a fallen tree and had to back down. I was able to wave to my wife who was on the back platform of the parlor car as her train went into the Cascade wye!.
I did take videos but they are not the best and some still photos but will have to search for them and also the exact dates.
