A good ride with Avis

Avis came through as promised, although there were some scary moments. At one point there was about $1000 in charges to my credit card, but most of that was reversed and when the dust settled Avis charged me the promised $50 to fetch my car plus about $38 to fill it with gas at the high prices they charge if you don't fill it yourself. Which is a really good deal because I think the car sat at Rockwood for several days before the weather and roads allowed them to go get it. Net net, I owe Avis one, they handled my problem with great customer service. A great weekend, again my thanks to the D&S folks who worked so hard to keep our trains running under challenging (but very photogenic) conditions. A final view.
