The Eureka Nevada Railway’s 2-6-2 #7, now at the Silverwood theme park in Idaho, by all accounts was extremely slippery. The only reason that it survives today is that by the time of the 1927 engine house fire that destroyed most of the railroad’s locomotive fleet, the little Prairie had been robbed of its tender and pushed out into the sagebrush.
