I think the uniqueness of this snow train is having the spreader. As far as I know the spreader has not run west out of Antonito into snow country since 1966. I understand that in 1978 (?) it was run about half a mile out of Chama, but this will be really unique. Amazingly the Russel Bush video shows the spreader on it's way to Antonito, presumably for this special. The only photos I have seen of the spreader in action in the high country was in Ron Ziel's book "Steam in the Sixties". Any photos would be unique.
