Well, everyone seems to be getting into the spirit of the sharing thing. Many thanks, folks. So, to be a participant and not just a lurker, I'll share a few images now and again. Here are a few of my early slides, taken in the summer of 1972 with my father's old Argus C-3, which I used for about a year. These were taken at Whitehorse, YT which was then the operational end of the rail portion of the White Pass & Yukon Route.
Steel extended vision cupola caboose No. 903 at Whitehorse, YT.
MLW built No. 108 at Whitehorse, YT,
Parlor Car Lake Teslin at Whitehorse, YT. The waterfront on the Yukon was immediately behind the three tracks at the depot, but most of the wharfs and warehouses were gone by 1972. Unfortunately, I did not take more photos of the remaining stern wheelers beached there, or of the other facilities.
More another time.
