Rocky Mountain RR Club meets on Tuesday

The monthly meeting of the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club will be held on Tuesday evening, January 8 in Denver, Colorado.
Member Bill Jones will give us a good look at four of the narrow gauge railroads that radiated from Silverton, Colorado. He will show many of the images that his grandfather and long-time Club member Morris Abbott collected of the "Mears Lines" over 60 years ago.
Morris made several visits to the town starting in 1944 and was acquainted with Otto Mears' grandson and several former employees of the Silverton Northern.
This is an open meeting, member or not. Feel free to join us at 7:30 pm in south Denver for "Mines, Mears, and the Railroads of Silverton".
