That is the best description of my lovely switch that I have heard. I think that the designer of the Tyco switch had the same design parameters as I did; cramming too much track into too little space. Believe it or not, the cars will go through the switch (one at a time) as long as I grease the outside point rail. The Plymouth locomotive and the West Side flatcar will go through it coupled together, thanks to a rather long "link" in the link and pin coupling. It is quality "zero mph" rated track
