And then there was Cass. He must of needed a change in scenery. And he got it!
And finally, he ends up in Strasburg. Which was weird because my first full time job was in Strasburg (but not for the RR).
That should be the end of the story, although maybe it isn't. My son works in close proximity to SP 2248's firebox, and maybe he'll help get that fixed up.
Maybe Earl will get a call from Cheyenne this spring asking if he can come out of retirement to run 4014 to Odgen. Given what I've seen in the last 40 years, anything is possible!
