But IMHO yores trooly (Roosso) had Earl beat in the Derby-Hatted Engineer Contest a quarter-century ago (see third photo on [
ngdiscussion.net]), and a quarter-century before that Jeff Stebbins topped both of us in his pre-Derby days aboard (or chasing?) the NPS Special
