That's Jeff Stebbins in the cab of #487, not Earl Knoob.
But not to worry — Jeff is also a great guy, with whom we fans of the C&TS have had many happy times in recent years. One of the original volunteers who worked alongside his close friend Ernie Robart in helping to resuscitate the railroad during the summer and fall of 1970, he was our engineer both for the "Springtime in the Rockies" charter with green-jacketed #489 in May of 2010
