Brain et al -

Was that exhibit in Arcadia near the Santa Anita racetrack?  We lived in Glendora in the late 40's, and used to visit my grandmother in east Pasadena fairly often.  I definitely remember a restaurant nearby with a flashing sign – EATONS - EATONS - EATONS – and more than once talking my dad into stopping so we kids could play on an old train, which wasn't fenced off, on our way home.  IIRC, there was also a place close by, but on the opposite side of the four-lane highway, that had pony rides.
