Tomstp: Yes, both engines watered at Cumbres, as well as Cresco.
Guymonmd: as far as I can remember, the 19 was functional, and with the slow speed of the train might have provided some extra power, but as long as we kept moving, we weren't going to stop and fire it up. Besides, we would have needed another engineer to run it. We don't need no stinking diseasals!
Cdaspit: A guy named Norm Fish videoed the trip for a production he called "Last Train To Cumbres". I think his outfit was "Historical Video Productions". It was a pretty good product. He eventually disappeared without a trace, and have no idea what happened to his stuff. It would have made a good DVD.
