You're probably right. He might have thought my post was another of the "me too" or "my idea is" kind we often get here.

At times, I find myself doing a triage on the board. if the topic looks interesting I'll start reading the first few postings. Then maybe I go on reading or I take my interest elsewhere. But then if certain people make a post, I'll read that and then what they are responding too.

I recall one time there was a very long thread that I ended up not reading in total. Then a correspondent who know of some of my interests, etc. sent me a direct email, encouraging me to read the thread (or a portion of it) because the posts or questions were related to my interest and knowledge.

Again, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to keep it in mind.
