When I visited with Eldon Morgan last September, he mentioned that Gayle Cunningham had recently passed away. Gayle was Eldon's fireman on the last freight to Chama in August, 1968. the other day I got this sent to me:

I only met Gayle once. Back in the mid-1980's I was up at Cumbres working with Jim Shawcroft on the regular train. Gayle stopped by to say hello to Jim. Jimmy introduced me to Gayle and with the wink that only Jimmy could do, said to me "This Cunningham guy was and still is a real troublemaker.."
