Glad you like it, Ed!
This is our 6th year doing the "Steam Trains" title. We also do a mini-calendar with the same title in a smaller format, and with a different set of images.
Sumpter Valley has appeared in the calendar a couple of other times, but with the plethora of great images that place produces, I thought it was finally time to put them on the cover.
I particularly like the 2019 edition because it includes a couple of photos that are all-time favorites of mine, including the back-lit shot of the 111 at the Georgetown Loop, and the fall image of Mt. Washington #10 from back before the line dieselized. Also managed to get some seldom-seen operations in there, such as the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad in Washington State, the Black Hills Central, and the Mt. Emily Shay on the City of Prineville Railroad.
The publishers say it does pretty well. Last year, they sold the entire print run. We're already working on a 2020 version.
Thanks for the post!

Edit: Of course, Rader is correct. The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad is in Yacolt, WA. I'm surprised he picked up the error. Most folks probably aren't familiar with that operation. The Black Hills Central is in Hill City, SD, and the City of Prineville Railroad is in Oregon.<<<
