, as a Carriage Builder I was very pleasantly surprised to see what the subject really was!
Nice work fella's, a copper roof! WOW, I presume it is very thin copper, do you solder the joints to seal them?
Is that a common treatment in the day? Down here we stretch canvas over and paint it with a linseed oil based goop.
Not to behest you with bad luck, but down here in Australia you would have to get a coat of paint on the quick smart and don't tell anyone it is copper, else you will find yourself replacing the roof regularly!
