thanks to all drafting teachers and D&RGW 486

I found my copy of the drafting project of D&RGW 486 and caboose the Canon City High School Drafting Club did. Don't recall when but now I guess 1980's. It is printed on paper 24 inches wide by about 12 feet long (guess) and the locomotive and caboose takes up almost the full paper size. The Club used to advertise this print for a fee in train related literature which is what I responded to. The drawing is too big to display on my apartment wall unless I wrap it on two walls. I did not find the typewritten history that went with it. The Drafting Club sold these many years ago probably as a fund raising project. The drafting teacher took on a rather sizeable project and he and his students did a very nice job. Here is thanks to all drafting teachers in the world for the motivation and devotion offered to a bunch of students that were taught a skill they took with them in life. Understanding drafting symbols and rules as well as their application is a skill still in demand but probably not taught anymore as schools chose to ignore the importance of this skill when sending graduates into the world.
